Description
Hiroshi Watanabe received Ph.D. degree from Univ. Tsukuba in physics in 1994. He worked for the Corporate Research & Development Center, Toshiba Corporation from 1994 to 2010. His current position is a full professor, Dept. Electrical and Computer Engineering in National Chiao Tung University, since February 2010.
He has studied quantum physics, semiconductor technologies, flash memories, and IoT securities with Blockchains from theory to experiments. As a result, he holds 70 US granted patents and has published plenty of papers, invited talks, tutorials in the journals and conferences. He is a conference advisory board of the Flash Memory Summit since 2018 and the IEEE Technical Committee on Quantum Communications and Information Technologies (IEEE QCIT) since 2018. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE since 2012.
